Reform UK Election voting system to ensure greater representation in Government.
EU referendum and political fallout demonstrate clearly that UK MP's do not understand the opinions and wishes of the majority of the UK voters. Under the current voting system, MP's represent the largest minority not the majority. A Single Transferable or Alternative Vote system is a majority vote.
More information regarding STV and AV can be found on the internet, one site that can be useful is http://www.electoral-reform.org.uk/voting-systems
The current voting system used for UK Elections is the First Past the Post system, whoever gets the highest number of votes wins.
The Scottish Local Elections use Single Transferable Vote.
