Labour to back remaining in the EU in the next election.
The EU referendum was not a decisive result, with a few percentage points difference between those who wish to remain and those who wish to remain. Many of those who voted leave now regret their decision.
Therefore if we have a majority government or coalition we urge the parties who are in the remain camp to prevent the invocation of article 50. They will have the democratic support of the country as a result.
