Petition Action

Do not allow unelected powers into office

Petition Details

We the undersigned call on HM Government to trigger a new general elections in light of the Prime Minister's resignation. The new Tory leader to take his place has not been elected by the people of Great Britain and should not lead the United Kingdom without a vote.

Additional Information

Recent events in the UK has led David Cameron, who was elected as Prime Minister by the people of Great Britain, to resign from his post as Prime Minister. This means the conservative party will be appointing a new leader without an election. We the undersigned have not voted for such a power and request a fair election. We do not know if the new leader has the people's interest in mind nor do we want to risk the country's future to be further in turmoil.
