MP’s to ignore the advisory referendum and vote to stay in the European Union.
The EU referendum vote was only a 4% difference between Remain and Leave. We argue this is not sufficient for the magnitude of the decision, given the overwhelming short and long term negative consequences; economic, social and political, of leaving the EU.
The adverse financial market impact is being felt worldwide, potentially triggering further global recession, job cuts and more austerity. Far right groups are empowered by this vote and see this as a sign to perpetuate their racism and hatred.
