Let us invest in re-opening rail routes which were closed by the Beeching Axe
Most of the track beds still exist for the rail routes which were closed by the Beeching axe, Let us consider re-opening those lines over the next twenty years. It makes sense to look forward to alternative methods of transport for the day when petrol may be in very short supply.
