Ignore the result of the EU Referendum
The EU referendum result was close.
51.9% of 33.5M voters voted to Leave the EU
That is only 37.4% of the total electorate (46.5M people)
The effects of the Referendum are already disastrous for the economy. No Plan is yet published to foresee, or estimate a return to stability or prosperity.
- Trillions have been lost from Financial Markets.
- The Pound is in a worse position than it has been for decades.
- Violence and extremism are on the rise as groups seize this result as endorsement of hatred and racism.
- Initial exploration suggests that informal negotiation is not an option
When should we decide to cut our losses and remain in the EU?
What price is it reasonable to pay for the idea of democracy, or sovereignty or 'freedom' from EU laws?
