Petition Action

We strongly urge that Parliament DO NOT invoke article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty.

Petition Details

For the social, cultural and economic security of the UK we, the undersigned, ask that Parliament DO NOT invoke article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, but urgently work with all colleagues in Westminster, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland governments to find a solution to this disastrous situation.

Additional Information

The UK cannot be allowed to drift out of the EU on a badly designed referendum and an extremely marginal vote influenced by massive lies and misinformation.
Many leave voters based their vote on "untruths", the misguided belief that “leave” now means they can tell all immigrants to go home, or just to air their general disatisfaction with the government.
For these reasons, that many people didn't vote on the actual issue of EU membership, the referendum should surely be declared null and void.
