Petition Action

Minimum Broadband Speed of 100Mbps Guarantee

Additional Information

I want the government to guarantee a minimum broadband speed of 100Mbps to every household and business in the UK.

This investment would be cheaper than high-speed rail and more useful to the majority of businesses.

If we truly are to become a knowledge economy, we must be able to compete with other knowledge economies like South Korea where high speed Internet access is the norm.

High speed, low latency, uncapped data transmission will be as essential to economic growth in the 21st century as the motorway system was to the 20th century.
