Ask Remain MPs to uphold EU membership in light of post referendum developments.
Petition for the 479 Remain MP's to uphold UK Membership of the EU.
The recent referendum on EU membership was advisory, not binding. In light of recent developments, we ask that the 321-strong Remain majority takes action for the sake of the future of our country.
Since Brexit, we've seen a range of negative economic, political and social effects: The resignation of the Prime Minister, adverse financial implications, indications that Leave campaigners misrepresented facts, racial tensions and assaults, divisions within political parties, potential de-unification of the UK, and signs many Leave voters now regret their vote. The result was within a 4% margin based on a 74% turnout, meaning only approx. 37% of the UK Electorate cast a vote to leave the EU.
