Allow Leave voters misled by false promises to ask that their vote be discounted

Petition Details

Leave politicians have now either denied or described as a "mistake" their false claims that £350m UK currently sends to the EU could go to the NHS instead & that immigration levels would fall if the UK left. The mandate for Article 50 is now called into question and a new one should be sought.

Additional Information

Evidence is in the interviews given by politicians over the last few days and on the BBC and other news websites.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Because voting is anonymous, it is not clear how you think the Government or Parliament could retrospectively change the outcome of the referendum.
