Petition Action

For 16-17 Year Olds to be given the vote. And for the Young to have a voice.

Petition Details

I am a 16 Year Old who has a big interest in this country, but cannot have a say in big decisions such as General Elections and the EU Referendum. This passed week us Young have become under attack from older voters however we younger generation need a voice. This only achieved by being given votes

Additional Information

In June 2016, Britain decided to vote leave. But this was not the whole of Britain. The 16-17 year old are the people the campaigns targeted as a vote for. "Vote for your kids...". Although 0-15 year olds are too young to understand, us 16-17 year olds are not.
I'm sure 99.9% of 16-17 year olds watched the results with a hatred for leave voters and those who claimed that they voted on our behalf.
I feel that this right for to vote is just as important in this modern day as the Suffragette's.
