Make political broadcasting accountable to the ASA
Since 2003, political advertising campaigns are not accountable to the ASA for their advertising. The electoral commission was supposed to set up a code of conduct, but did not. As a result, politicians are allowed to lie to the electorate to get votes without accountability.
