Form a Government of National Unity
We the undersigned urge MPs of all parties to come together to form a Government of National Unity in response to the EU referendum result.
The UK has voted by a very slim majority and with a turn out of less than 75% of the population to leave the EU. In addition to this it is becoming ever clearer that certain claims that featured prominently in the campaign to leave were grossly misleading. A Government of National Unity formed of all political parties would be ideally placed to decide whether, under these circumstances, such a small majority is sufficient to justify the momentous constitutional changes that will result.
