Petition Action

Hold an election on the referendum for 16/17 year olds in Britain to have a vote

Petition Details

The EU Referendum should take into account the interest of the younger generation. We are requesting that 16 & 17 year olds in Britain are given the opportunity to vote, the results from this can be taken into account prior to a decision being made on the Article 50.

Additional Information

16 and 17 year olds in Britain have been voicing their opinion on last weeks referendum results.

This generation and their children will bear the brunt of our decisions, and therefore it is only fair that they also have their voices heard democratically.

The Government can hold an election and take account their votes prior to making a decision on their future.

Political interest in this generation has drastically increased and now more than ever it is a time to give them your ear.
