False political policies to be investigated and sanctions to be made
In light of any election/referendums that have occurred recently, party manifesto policies and statements are made to engage the electorate. Should declarations be fraudulent or misleading, this will require the election to be void and sanctions to be made against both parties and MPs
The recent EU Referendum stated that £350 million gained from the EU payments to be made available to the NHS. The value of the payments made to the EU has been scrutinized and the statement to enable the NHS to receive funding branded as a mistake.
Previously Liberal Democrat ministers publicly signed manifesto to scrap tuition fees only to vote for an increase in fees under a new post-degree repayment system.
