Petition Action

Declare the 2016 referendum result void, as the Leave campaign used false data.

Petition Details

A narrow referendum result where the 'Leave' side had a false number - that the EU takes £350M a week from the UK – prominently in their campaign advertising (eg on their Battle Bus) is not valid: especially as the UK Statistics Authority told 'Leave' early enough during the campaign to change it.

Additional Information

1) Examples of repeated use of the misleading figure as a central part of the Brexit campaign.
