Offer UK citizenship to EU citizen’s based in the UK prior to the EU referendum
The UK government has offered EU citizens little assurance in the long term that should the UK leave the EU that they will be entitled to remain in the UK. All EU citizens that legally entered the UK prior to the result of the EU referendum should be offered free full UK citizenship.
UK citizenship can cost over £1,000. Due to this prohibitive cost, and in this time of uncertainty, the UK government should grant EU citizens who lived in the UK prior to the date of the UK EU referendum, the opportunity to obtain free UK citizenship.
