Petition Action

We call on the Government not to invoke Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty.

Petition Details

The Government of the United Kingdom has an overriding obligation to ensure the safety of all U.K. residents and the stability of the United Kingdom. We believe that in choosing to not invoke Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty the Government will be honouring this obligation.

Additional Information

The Government does not have a strategy or plan to implement an exit from the E.U. in a manner that will guarantee the security of all UK residents and the continued unity of the U.K.

A 51.9% vote in favour of an exit from the EU is not a “majority". Only 17,410,742 of the total electorate of 46,500,001 voted to leave the EU.

The 51.9% vote included an undefined number of “protest votes” and votes based on false information/promises. These do not therefore constitute a Leave/Out vote.
