Petition Action

MPs should take a conclusive, parliamentary vote on the UK's potential EU exit.

Petition Details

We ask MPs to reconsider the EU referendum result with advice from an independent, knowledgeable international panel & take a conclusive, parliamentary vote. Such a radical, under-prepared exit with far-reaching consequences shouldn't be made with a slim vote margin nor without leadership in place.

Additional Information

This petition does not disregard the views of leave voters. It asks that Geoffrey Robertson QC's legal advice in the media yesterday* is followed for the future prosperity and stability of the UK & European states.

*"It's the right of MPs alone to make or break laws, and the peers to block them. So there's no force whatsoever in the referendum result"
