EU Referedum - Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty should be triggered immediately.

Petition Details

The result of a democratic process has concluded and the result has given the government a clear mandate. The majority have chosen to leave the EU.

Additional Information

The European Commission have stated, there can be no negiotitans without invoking Article 50. Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty should be invoked immediately.
Any delay goes against the spirit & purpose of the referendum. It is essential that both Article 50 gets invoked immediately and formal negotiations begin.
When the Conservative party have chosen their final 2 choices of leader, they can lead the negotiations for the UK's exit from the EU.
No change of leadership should delay this process.
