Referendum on income tax
Holding a referendum has proven to be an effective and democratic way to decide the nation's future in matters of highest importance.
We therefore propose to hold a referendum to decide to abolish the income tax.
In 2015 the tax payers have paid a weekly amount of £3.1billion in
income tax across all bands. We propose to abolish such mandatory
payment to the state, and instead to take back control of this money
and fund the NHS with an additional £3.1billion per week.
In order to comply with the rules of democracy we suggest that no less than the majority (i.e. 23,299,988 people) of eligible voters must be in favour. We can entrust the voters to make the right decision for
the Country.
