Parliament to keep the United Kingdom in the European Union.
Whilst parliament should act on the legitimate concerns of those voting to leave the European Union, a 4% majority of people voting in a referendum does not absolve parliament of responsibility for the decision and is insufficient mandate for constitutional change.
With 48% of the voters wanting to remain there is insufficient consent to leave. Parliament has a duty to consider the interests of all residents of the United Kingdom including those who did not vote or were not permitted to have a vote.
