Petition Action

Introduce Politics as a compulsory GCSE subject

Petition Details

If Politics is introduced as a compulsory GCSE subject, it would mean younger people would be more knowledgable for current affairs, and would give them enough knowledge to be able to vote in elections and referendums, should the voting age be reduced to 16.

Additional Information

If people are more knowledgable at a younger age, the minimum voting age could be lowered to 16.
