We call upon HM Government to reject petitions calling for a 2nd EU referendum.
The majority of the electorate clearly voted in favour of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union. The petition calling for retrospective referendum rule changes is unfair and undemocratic. The wish of the majority to leave the EU should be respected and implemented by parliament.
We the undersigned object to the petition calling for retrospective rule impositions regarding the EU referendum. We call upon HM Government to begin the process of leaving the European Union immediately.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
