Hold political campaigners accountable to accurate facts and answering questions
The recent EU referendum debate highlights the problem with campaigners providing statistics, arguments and imagery that are completely misleading knowingly, only to be corrected afterwards. The televised debates were more about the art of avoiding the question than having a constructive debate.

Campaign claim: Immigration levels could be controlled if the UK left the EU.
Current claim: Immigration levels can't be radically reduced by leaving the EU. Fears about immigration did not influence the way people voted.
Campaign claim: We send £350m a week to Brussels, which could be spent on the NHS instead.
Current claim: The claim was a mistake
