Prosecute for fraud MPs who lie to gain votes in an election or referendum
People need to be able to trust that the voting decisions they make are based in fact when being informed during an election or referendum by Members of Parliament. MPs are not elected to lie to and defraud the public. To do so should be a criminal offence.
