British government should pay costs for 15 year plus ex pats to be EU citizens.
Ex pats that still hold a British passport and have been ex pats for 15 plus years in an EU land and were not allowed to vote in the EU rederendum should have the costs of changing citizenship to that of their current EU home, covered by the British Government.
We had no say in the referendum but we may have to leave our EU homes due to stricter EU rules that may be imposed on British ex pats. This is undemocratic. A compensatory amount of no less than €1500,00 should me made available to any 15 year plus expat who chooses to revoke their British citizenship. A separate arrangement should also be considered for any British State pension funds that may have accrued.
