A change of Prime Minister should be followed by a General Election.
Gordon Brown came to power in 2007 and didn't face a public vote until 2010. The next Tory PM is under no obligation to face a public vote until 2020. I suggest that any PM appointed mid-Parliament should be obliged to hold a General Election within 6 months.
