Offer indefinite visas to all EU nationals currently living in the UK.
The PM has said that the fate of EU nationals living in the UK after we leave is a matter for the next PM to discuss in the negotiations.
This is wrong. It uses the the wellbeing of ordinary people as a negotiating tool.
We should unilaterally offer them indefinite visas to remain in the UK, now.
The fate of UK citizens currently living in the EU is equally uncertain. It may be that the PM believes he is safeguarding their futures by holding those of EU citizens living in the UK randsom. I believe this is wrong both morally and tactically. As with all things, we should have the courage and leadership to do what is right.
