article 50 ~ General Election ~ Northern Ireland ~ Parliament ~ remain ~ Scotland ~ UK
Call a general election or allow a vote on repealing the Communities Act 1972.
We the undersigned call upon HM Government to either call a general election or ensure that there is a vote in parliament for repealing the European Communities Act 1972 before invoking Article 50.
We feel that you owe the electorate and/or Parliament a choice given that :-
Scotland, Northern Ireland, Gibraltar, London and 75% of MPs all voted to remain.
The UK Leave majority was slim, so there is not a strong mandate to leave.
There is currently no leadership in either of the main parties.
There is a constitutional crisis which threatens the breakup of two Unions.
That the defacto leader of the Leave campaign will not stand as PM.
