Support the motion that there shall be an early parliamentary general election

Petition Details

The UK has voted to leave the European Union, but there exists no parliamentary majority for this major change to UK governance. Therefore the people of the United Kingdom call for an early general election so that we may put in place a government that represents the majority will of the electorate.

Additional Information

The Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011 allows for an early general election under section 2(2) and we therefore call on our MPs to support the motion "That there shall be an early parliamentary general election.”
