When the prime minister resigns it should trigger a general election
The headline says it all. Currently when the Pm resigns or is voted out by his party, the leader of the country is voted for by his or her peers not the country. It seems to be an un-democratic system. I feel if our elected leader resigns, the people should be able to choose.
