Prevention of extortionately high interest rates to protect the vulnerable, unable to afford or understand the consequences of such loans and HP
A call to protect our society against extortionately high interest rates charged on loans or HP arrangements, often hidden in small print. To press the case for a reasonable cap on such rates charged by companies and much clearer messaging for consumers to understand.
It is often to most needy, vulnerable and poorer members of our society who are pressed into taking on such unfair arrangements.
