Petition Action

Put animal rights before religion with a blanket ban on halal meat.

Petition Details

The Islamic form of slaughtering animals or poultry, dhabiha, involves killing through a cut to the jugular vein, carotid artery and windpipe.

Stunning cannot be used to kill an animal. Slaughter without pre-stunning causes unnecessary suffering, which in turn is animal cruelty.
