Ensure the Health Secretary is a qualified doctor of medicine.
The current health secretary has no medical experience, which is illogical with regards to the responsibility involved in such a job. He is also known to have supported medical practices with no scientific basis. This highlights clear problems with the way in which the health secretary is appointed.
