Having voted to leave the EU, a vote on future UK/EU relations must be held
The undersigned require a referendum on a detailed plan for the UK's future relationship with the EU prior to initiating procedures for leaving the EU under article 50 of the Lisbon treaty.
If this plan is not accepted by a majority of 2/3 of votes cast, then Article 50 shall not be initiated.
The future prosperity of the UK is dependent on fair agreements with the EU.
Many misleading statements were made during the referendum campaign about immigration, the NHS, and access to the single market.
No plan has yet been presented.
The plan must have been discussed with the EU and be a credible proposal for access to the single market; the status of UK citizens in the EU and vice versa; immigration; security; and other core areas essential to the UK’s prosperity.
