Repeal this inhuman bedroom tax.
Bedroom tax reduces the amount of available cash to already hard pressed people, made people homeless and has increased pressure on the homeless charities that are already near breaking point.
Available social housing is under strain as families have children, needing larger accommodation, to families who have adult children and so need to downsize after they have left or face the wrath of the subsidies. Where no middle accommodation is so hard pressed, people with slightly larger homes, where there are no downsizeable properties in the social market, , and where people have carved out a niche in the neighbourhood have to relocate or face eviction.
