Ban Tax-haven Ownership of UK National Press and Media
A healthy democracy requires that all corporations and their owners operating within it, pay their fair share towards the costs of running that democracy and so should avoid the use of tax-havens
It is crucial therefore that a democracy's media ownership are not tainted with tax-haven involvement
A genuine democracy requires a free, diverse and ethically-owned press & media
A genuine democracy also requires all corporations & their owners, operating within it, to pay their fair share toward costs of running that democracy & should not use tax-havens for corporate or individual tax-avoidance
The government must require Ofcom to ban all off-shore tax-haven based individuals or corporations or their subsidiaries from directly or indirectly owning UK's national newspapers,TV & radio stations
