repeal, amend or apply Fixed-term Parliaments Act to allow a general election
In light of the referendum held on 23 June, the UK will withdraw from the European Union in terms of Article 50 TEU. Before the UK notifies its decision to the European Council, a general election is need to make the political parties set out their visions for a future UK-EU relationship.
