Head stamping and kicking is attempted murder
The law needs to change to carry a heavier sentence for those that stamp on, or kick, people's heads during an assault.
At present, too many cases result in assault charges, such as GBH and ABH. If a person is on the floor, particularly if they're unconscious, stamping on or kicking their head can only mean attempted murder.
What else are they hoping to achieve?
