reform the monarchy, elect the monarch or move to a republic
The uk monarchy is unelectable, the government to abolish the current act of settlement, so that the monarch can stand for election against any of the princes and princess who want to become the new monarch. If not then the government should abolish the monarchy and move to a republic.
