Identify and address the concerns of Leave & Remain voters equally
The EU referendum split the electorate. If we leave the EU it will be despite the objections of half the population. If we merely remain it will also be despite the objections of half the population. As a matter of law, the referendum is advisory. Parliament must act fairly to the whole population.
Membership of the EU involves many complex issues and the matter should not have been reduced to a simple in/out question.
This calls on Parliament to act in the interests of the whole population, properly research the issues of concern and develop proper solutions to them.
