Petition Action

Stop the DWP automatically deducting overpayments without sending proof.

Petition Details

The department of work and pensions automatically makes deductions for overpayments without proof as to when it is from. My partner received a letter stating money was owed from 2011. A letter was sent requesting proof to how this occurred, only to receive a letter back advising the complaint

Additional Information

Won't be looked into as a letter was sent in 2011 so still no proof just have to take their word for it even though advisor also stated no information on systems this is disgusting and pretty much is criminal.

We're not sure what payments you're referring to. We need you to be clearer and more specific.
