Tell EU Parliament referendum result was prejudiced by Leave campaign tactics

Petition Details

Voters swayed by: claim (later retracted) that £350 million/week EU membership fee would go to NHS on Exit; conflation of global migration & EU citizen free movement issues; Nigel Farage's anti-migrant rhetoric ignoring French aim to send Calais migrants here on Exit.

Additional Information

Since the referendum result, there has been a sharp rise in racial abuse. After Nigel Farage’s European Parliament, I had a flashback to the 1985 Hysel Stadium disaster when rampaging English football ‘fans’ killed Italian fans. The English sense of shame lasts to this day, reinforced now by this.
I believe the unquantified will of the British people is expressed, not in the referendum result but in this quote by the late Jo Cox MP: ‘Far more unites us than divides us.’
