Petition Action

To allow long term residents of the UK to have a vote in any future referendums.

Petition Details

As a long term resident of the UK (over 35 years), I feel I should have a vote in future referendums without having to apply for a passport. Especially when the referendum such as the one we just had, has so many implications for the future of my kids, both British, my family and myself.

Additional Information

Ideally, long term "residents" who live, home is the UK and contribute with their work and pay taxes just as a "citizen" would, then we should have the same rights.
If that means that we loose our vote in the country of origin then so be it.
