Petition Action

Please discuss with WTO formation of a Free Trade bloc of Commonwealth nations.

Petition Details

After our recent departure from the European Union. It is in the best interests of the UK and our former commonwealth nations. That we begin the formation of a trade bloc composed of commonwealth members & establish a voluntary free trade agreement with them under the guidance of the WTO.

Additional Information

It has been claimed that the EU had for many years prevented us from doing free trade deals with our former commonwealth nations. The establishment of a Free Trade bloc comprising of all or some of those nations is then in our national interest and would be mutually beneficial to some who felt left behind or abandoned upon our entrance in to the EU. In total it amounts to 2.2 billion consumers four times the capacity of the EU single market.
