Get NHS backing for MAP vaccine for Crohn's disease and colitis cure
I am a Crohn's disease and colitis sufferer. Life is very difficult because there is no cure. There is a possible cure at the Kings college hospital. The trials cannot go ahead because there is not enough funding. Meanwhile IBD sufferers have to struggle with life. This vaccine could help cure IBD
There are 250,000 people in the UK that suffer from IBD, over 80% need to have surgery to correct or remove the colon. It is a chronic disease which is debilitating. Prof. John. Hermon - Taylor has worked out that a bacteria found in cattle is transferred to humans with a weak immune system. I have to have lots of medication to get through each day and have been hospitalised because I cannot get a remission. Crohn's and colitis sufferers are desperate for a cure.
