siblings attending school out of catchment back on criteria admissions
Children with brother or sister attending out of catchment schools has been taken off the Notts county council criteria this year and the consequences have been devastating for so many familys as brothers, sisters and even twins have been split up and been denied some sort of sibling priority ..
My 4 yr old son with a 7yr old brother in a schoolplace has been denied the same school because the way they worked it out was 10 applications accepted within catchment including children with siblings. The rest of the applications were chosen OUT OF CATCHMENT but nearest to the school as the crow flies . Not out of catchment with siblings first ??? Help change this x
