The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition in its current form as it does not call for a clear action from the UK Government or Parliament. Your petition does not include where you would like the statue to be placed. The erection of statues would most likely be the responsibility of the local authority where you would like that statue erected. For example, in London, it would be the responsibility of the London Assembly or one of the borough councils. Parliament is only responsible for statues on the parliamentary estate, for example, the statues in Parliament itself. If you want a Turing statue to be erected inside Parliament, you could start a new petition about this.
