Following the EU referendum, parliament should hold a general election in 2016.
This will give the electorate an opportunity to consider each party’s plans for our future relationship with the EU.
The UK faces a constitutional crisis if the government unilaterally invokes Article 50 without parliamentary consent and without a mandate for how the UK would exit the EU.
